PRC is more than just a distributor of brochures!
Sure, we have thousands of pieces of literature, however; your PRC can provide the "how to" application on drug education and life principles.
Our prevention is really a proactive approach to educate, engage and encourage our communities!

Tyler region 211 for community resources
Hours:
The PRC is open between 8 A.M. and 5 P.M. Monday through Friday. While we handle many of our requests via mail, E-mail, and phone, we welcome walk-in patrons to visit the facility. We observe all national holidays, and have reduced staffing on state holidays.
Customers:
We circulate materials and distribute informational literature to people residing in Region 4. Anyone within the region wishing to borrow materials from our collection may complete a Patron Registraton form, or call 903.753.7633 for more information
Loan Period for PRC Equipment:
The PRC will loan out books, videos, and equipment (with the exception of reference materials, serial publications, TCADA documents, and curriculum materials which are restricted to in-house use only) to anyone who has registered with us. All materials are loaned for a period of two weeks and must be returned either in person or by an insured, traceable method at the end of the loan period.
Responsibilities:
Patrons are responsible for the timely return of all library materials in the condition in which they were received, and are financially responsible to the agency for lost or damaged materials.
Clearinghouse Materials:
We provide information to our walk-in customers and to anyone else who requests it via fax or phone. Since the items we stock vary from day to day (as this is largely dependent upon periodic shipments received from governmental and other sources), some items are limited. We're happy to work with you on the phone, via E-mail, or in person to locate resources to meet your needs.
We also provide materials and support to the providers located throughout the region. Requests for large quantities of materials should be made in advacne by calling 888.PRC.TEXX.
Materials Cost:
Most material which the PRC offers is provided to patrons at no cost. However some items we offer do require that we charge a fee to recoup our cost. This fee enables us to continue to stock that information.
